Juri Viehoff is a post-doctoral research fellow at the department of philosophy of the University of Zurich. He works on topics in moral and political philosophy, including questions of justice and legitimacy in the European Union. Born 1982 in Bonn, Germany, Juri holds a BSc (London School of Economics) and an MPhil (University of Oxford). His PhD (Oxford, 2014) focused on justice of supranational institutions. He taught “Ethics of Public Policy” at the Blavatnik School of Government, was a member of the Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften in Frankfurt (Sofja Kovalevskaja Group), and, since 2014, is a coordinating researcher of the network on “Justice and Financial Markets” at the University of Zurich. His current research project focuses on the ethics of finances and public policies.
